Vector Tutorial

1. Draw the outline of the object you would like to vector. (you may use shapes or draw by hand) I am going to scribble & vector a doll. You may do the same if you want but putting inspired by sprinkles is highly recomended. If you are using paint do step 2 in step 1.

2. Select the shapes (your drawing) and color the outline the color you want it.

3. Now erase any unwanted lines. Remember to be careful during this part. Because if you mess up you can ruin the whole scribble/vector.

4. This is the step where you get to add on extras that are necessary to your image. For example, I added hair to my doll.

5. Fill in the colors matching the outline colors you chose. This will make sense later on in the tutorial.

6. It is time to shade in your object. Choose the side you want the light to come from. I choose the light to come from the left, so the right side will be shaded. To shade select the color you want to shade with the color picker. Then edit the color you selected to about 1 shade darker than the original color. Then color in about half of the selection following the outline. Then repeat this step and go smaller and smaller. That way there is just a little dark part. This is usually the main part of your object.

7. Now it is time to make the light side bright. Do the same as in step 6 except go 1 color lighter than the original color.

8. Copy number 6 & 7 and do the other individual parts. Like how I did the arms, legs, head, and hair.

9. If you are vectoring, congrads you are complete!!! Put your credit && upload it. Great Job!!!
